There are many circumstances when you need to services of a lawyer licensed in the State of Florida. The services that we provide may not be sufficient to solve your legal problem.
- If you need legal advice you will need to consult with an attorney.
- If your legal problem is complex requiring the custom drafting of a document and legal analysis of your situation, you need a lawyer.
- If you have been sued in court or your matter requires that you matter is sufficiently complex that you cannot represented yourself you need a lawyer.
Florida Legal Referral Service
The Florida Bar has recently launched a new statewide Law Referral Service that covers 47 of 67 counties within the State of Florida and over 120 practice areas.
Call (800) 342-8011. It will place you in direct contact with The Florida Bar Lawyer Referral Service maintained as a public service by The Florida Bar. Your call will be answered by a lawyer referral staff member who will take your name, address and telephone number.
The lawyers on the Service are all Members In Good Standing with no pending probable cause complaints, and they all carry $100,000 of professional liability insurance. There is no charge to be referred to a lawyer.
The lawyers have agreed to provide a half-hour office consultation for no more than $25. Any fees after that will be negotiated between you and the lawyer. This is a volunteer service and not all lawyers are a member of this service.
